Today we discussed the language of clothes. After listening to the lecture and the meaning of colors in clothing, answer the following questions:
1. Do you judge people according to what they wear? Why?
Yes I do.
I believe that fashion is one of the expression of theirselves. Some people really care about the fasion and some people don't. We could know what kind of fashion they like according what they wear . So what they wear is one of the ways to understand them, I think.
But, it's just the one of the things to understand of them , so i don't judge them all just by what they wear. The word of the judge in this case for me is just to know what they like, how to combine their clothes, and so on. It doesn't include what kind of person they are. I can't tell that from clothes, we need to communicate each other to know that.
2 Do you think Japanese society puts an importance on clothing when judging other people from another country?
I don't think Japanese "society" puts an importance on clothing when judging other people from another country, or I just don't know about that. I think we rather judge them by character than what they wear.
3. What colors are you wearing now? Do they reflect your mood?
I'm wearing a green sweater and black jeans right now.
It doesn't reflect my mood but i tend to buy more darker colour clothes rather than brighter colour clothes. I think I don't have any pink, red or orange clothes. I like black, natural brown, blue, green or something like dark colour. I think it reflects myself. Those colour make me feel relax and comfortable ,that's why I tend to choose those colour clothes.
Next week we will discuss friends, please prepare by answering the following questions:
1. What are some subjects that you will never discuss with a friend?
I've never thought about this before, so I have to think about that.....
The subjects that never discuss.... I don't have any ideas right now....There are some subjects we hardly discuss, like social problem, enviromental problem, political things and so on. We do talk about that but not that often. I think all pelope have something that they don't tell anybody like, for me, i don't tell my freinds what i write on my diary, so it's one of the things i guess.
2. Do you have different friends for different parts of your life? If so, how are they different to you? Do you talk about different things? Go to different places? Give me some examples.
More I get older, more i get to meet many types of people.
So, I could say i have different friends for different parts of my life.
For example, when I meet friends from elementary school or junior high school, we talk about our youth,our town , friends of our town and I don't talk that much those things to my university's friends.
With part time job's friends, there are some places, like restaurant or bar that i don't go that much with other friends.
University's friends are really close to me, so I talk many things to them.
When i was a high school student, there was a special place that we always hang out. I have so many differents memories with many types of friends. And I really thank to meet them because they all help me to grow up ^^

I agree with your opinion about question 1. I thought that I wasn't judged from the clothes till I read your blog. However, I read your opinion, and my thought changed. I surely thought that wear is one of the ways to understand them.
Yeah, I agree with you.
I think first impression is really important, so looking their clothes is one of the way of judging people, I think.
However, it is controversial.
We can't judge everything about the person by only clothes.
hi! this is my first time to make some coments on your blog. i agree with you cuz i do judge people by their clothes, but i know i shouldnt judge them only by their clothes. so, i think its very important that we notice we judge them by clothes and try not to do only by their clothes.

Yes, we first look at someone's appearance, like face, clothes, but as you said, we can't judge everything from that !! I think so, too ^^

Thank you for your first commets on my blog^^ yeah, i tend to judge them just look by their clothes even if i don't talk to them. Clothes tell many things,but yes, we try not to judge them only by their clothes, that's really true !!
I agree with your opinion. I think that cloth is one of the elements of judging people.
Great discussion! I feel we can't help ourselves by looking at clothing first when we meet someone. What we have to be carful is not wanting to meet someone because of what they are wearing.
